This short animated film about feelings, which stay between partners even though love had already waned, was created as a student project almost one year ago in the Film School Zlín.

Scriptwriter, director and animator in one person is Ondřej Fleislebr. From the very beginning of studies in film school Ondřej is interested in puppets animation, above all using technique of pixilation, stop motion animation. That animation technique puts in motion lifeless objects, especially human characters that are further used as animation puppets.

In the film The Woman Ondřej animates animal meat and by that points out its increasing use, and consideration of that as a pure consumption good. Meat animation tendency is originated in Ondřej's negative experience in his previous medicine studies and working in that sphere. Therefore extent of the picture is very unusual, despite of repulsive aesthetics the story of love romance is uncovered.
